Our family of four boys is now complete. We are currently entering a new phase of life... we just returned to the USA after a full and exciting seven years in Mexico City. We are using this year to rest, renew, and re-envision our next steps. I have a funny feeling, though, that there won't be a whole lot of resting in this busy household of boys. Our Very Own Derby Jockey!

So it is Derby Weekend! I have said for several years now that Pierce has the perfect body-type to be a jockey. Light a a feather. Yesterday he had his first chance.

And...they're off! (check out the false start that throws Pierce off - and then, in fine Piersen fashion, laid back and easy going, he saunters across the finish line. No speed, but hey, he has the most authentic stride out of his whole class!) So. Cute!
