Out of all the boys, Hudson has by far been the pickiest eater. He proclaims that his favorite food is candy if that tells you anything. For a long time now I have been working on expanding his diet from the few real foods he will eat. He is now old enough to understand a little bit of bargaining and he thinks he can "fool" us all with his sweet face.
After hundreds of small servings of vegetables that have been placed on his plate over the years he finally grew weary of it all and just the other day told me he actually likes green beans. Ha! I felt like this was video worthy...because, surely, his manipulative technique to get down of off his chair was bound to be entertaining. I was not disappointed. Although the video is a little long (because the battle truly began when I called him to honor his word), it is worth the watch to see how this Mom is simply trying to make an honest man out of her kid who says that he likes green beans!
And, of course, at the end of any battle flow the words "I'm free!"
